SERVICE OVERVIEW

Our glass replacement process begins with removing the damaged glass and the adhesive layer holding it to the vehicle. After a clean surface is achieved, we prep the surface using a series of chemicals that protect the metal from rust and ensure a tight bond between the glass and metal frame. Then, a new OEM quality glass is installed and cleaned. This entire replacement process usually takes about an hour, but larger, more complex jobs may take longer.

Our technicians know how to handle a wide range of glass-related issues. While most auto glass can be directly ordered from our supplier, PGW, some jobs may require specific pieces that may take time to arrive. Other jobs may require custom cut glass.

POPULAR QUESTIONS

  • Why should I replace my glass?

Glass is a layer of protection between what is traveling at high speeds outside your vehicle and the passengers inside it – including yourself. Damaged glass will often get worse over time due to natural flex and movement of the glass as the car is driven. Driving with damaged glass is not only a huge safety concern, but it is also illegal in many areas.

  • Will my insurance cover the cost?

Depending on your insurance company and coverage policy, auto glass replacement may be covered. Some insurance companies have deductibles that must first be paid before they pay anything. Since all companies are different, we recommend calling your insurance company and talking to a representative.

  • What if my deductible costs more?

If your insurance deductible is higher than the cost of replacing the damaged glass, it is recommended to just pay for the replacement out of pocket without filing a claim with your insurance agency.
